Choose Cthulhu Book 10: The Whisperer in Darkness

Description:

WHO . . . OR WHAT . . . IS WRITING THOSE LETTERS TO YOU? ARE YOU DEAD? INSANE? OR HAVE YOU BECOME ONE OF THEM?

In Townshend, Vermont, unidentifiable remains washed up by the swollen rivers seem to attest to the presence of extra-terrestrial life in its rural hills. Your curiosity is piqued, and you write to Henry W. Akeley, a local who is well-versed in the topic. However, his side of the correspondence soon becomes increasingly contradictory and irrational in nature.

Who are these strange creatures that, according to him, are lurking around his house? What are the true intentions of this scholar of the occult who is sending you puzzling photographs along with all of those letters? But, most importantly, what hides behind the dreadful secrets that Akeley whispers in the dark?

Choose Cthulhu is a series of gamebooks based on the works of Howard Phillips Lovecraft. Take the role of the main character in the original stories by Providences Master . . . and face the cosmic horror of the Cthulhu Mythos
